A soft, self-healing circuit
From Alex Parrish
Researchers in the Soft Materials and Structures Lab, working with the Macromolecules Innovation Institute, have engineered this self-healing circuit made of soft materials. Even when a hole is punched through the body, the current continues to flow, forming a new path around the puncture. This technology was designed to be more durable and reusable than the rigid circuitry in current electronics.
