Good news: There have been significant accessibility updates on social media this year! In this session, I will share those updates so you can remove barriers on social media and ensure that your content is inclusive and accessible to all. You will learn about the accessibility features that are available on each platform and also which platforms aren't quite where they need to be yet. You will hear about everything from alt-text descriptions, to open and closed captioning, to general accessibility best practices. I will share how to make all content accessible with examples, tools, and tricks, even on platforms where accessibility features are still lacking.
