Dr. Devasmita Dev is the recipient of 2020 VTCSOM Research Mentor Award. She was nominated by her students for creating an environment in which original hypothesis-driven research was effectively implemented and guided, fostering intellectual growth and technical/methodological proficiency, while providing opportunities for professional growth. She was also lauded for challenging mentees to make original research contributions and carrying their research to completion with rigor while establishing clear expectations and maintaining high standards for quality, research ethics, and work ethic.
