This video is part of the Aquatic Ecology and Management basic training curriculum for the Virginia Master Naturalist program.  It is an interview with James Beckley, Quality Assurance Coordinator with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.  He describes the value of volunteer water quality monitoring and discusses how VDEQ uses volunteer-collected data.  We interviewed James along Horse Swamp Creek in Henrico County.
