The ability to upload digital plant sample submissions directly to the database streamlines the digital submission process. Digital uploading of the Plant Disease Diagnostic form and digital images also streamlines linkage of sample information and digital images to a physical sample that will be shipped to the Plant Disease Clinic. Samples that are submitted directly to the database by Virginia Cooperative Extension offices will allow Extension agents to access a historical record of all samples, images, diagnostic forms and diagnostic reports submitted electronically.
