This presentation gives a brief overview of per- and poly-fluoroalkyl compounds (e.g, PFAS, PFOA, PFOS) in drinking water and other environmental matrices and describes a collaborative project with Virginia Tech and United States Geological Survey to begin characterizing these compounds in private water supplies in Virginia.  Presenters are Erin Ling (ejling@vt.edu), Leigh-Anne Krometis (krometis@vt.edu), Kang Xia (kxia@vt.edu) and Kathleen Hohweiler (khohwe1@vt.edu).
