The field of Artificial Intelligence is rapidly evolving in terms of technology, deployment models, third-party relationships, terms of service, regulatory landscape, and academic-industry partnership structures. As technology continues to advance, it is essential for the research community to stay aligned with emerging tools and technologies while simultaneously ensuring responsible and ethical practices. This Investigator Series panel discussion will present multiple perspective on the ethical use Artificial Intelligence (AI) for research, innovation, and other scholarly endeavors.
The Investigator Series provides a forum for researchers to discuss various aspects of ethical research and innovation with their colleagues. Students, faculty, and staff who are interested in presenting as part of investigator Series should reach out to the research integrity and consultation program at integrity@vt.edu.
