The Wind Turbine Team at Virginia Tech, comprised of students from a variety of disciplines, is designing and building a functioning, small-scale wind turbine for the 2019 Collegiate Wind Competition in Colorado. The annual competition requires the team to build, market and select a mock implementation location for a wind turbine.
