This webinar is part of the Virginia Master Naturalist Program Continuing Education webinar series for VMN volunteers. We will be covering the Virginia Department of Forestry's new
My Trees Count Application. This application can be used to record urban tree planting Best Management Practices across the Commonwealth for Virginia's
Phase III Watershed Implementation Plan goals, which provide a roadmap for how Virginia will achieve nutrient and sediment reductions needed to restore the Bay and its tributaries. The application also has an opportunity for Virginia Master Naturalist chapters and volunteers to assist with the tree planting verification process if interested.
This webinar is made possible with support from an Urban and Community Forestry grant from the Virginia Department of Forestry and the U.S. Forest Service.
