This webinar is part of the Virginia Master Naturalist Continuing Education webinar series.
Description: Interested in learning more about native plants and engaging others in your community to increase native landscapes? Be part of a growing state-wide regional native plant marketing campaign initiative! This webinar will provide a brief overview of the efforts of the Virginia CZM Program and its partners to build demand for native plants, to increase the supply of native plants, and create and showcase places where people can visit and see natives at their best. We will highlight the critical role that community leaders play in their regions, using the Plant NOVA Natives campaign as an example. There are numerous opportunities to join us and contribute to existing and developing campaigns (in Northern Virginia, the Richmond area, and Southeast Virginia and on the Northern Neck and Eastern Shore). We would be excited if a Master Naturalist Chapter were interested in initiating the next regional campaign.
