Description: Learn about the project by Plant NOVA Natives to mobilize the public to save Northern Virginia trees from invasive vines.
Presenters: Margaret Fisher is the outreach director of Plant NOVA Natives/Plant NOVA Treees. She is also an Audubon-at-Home Ambassador, Fairfax Master Naturalist, Fairfax Invasives Management Area site leader, and author of Take Our Advice: A Handbook for Gardening in Northern Virginia. Heidi Allen has been a volunteer leader for the invasive management program (IMA) in Fairfax County Parks since 2014. She joined up with Plant NOVA Natives to help create The Tree Rescue Program along with Margaret Fisher.
