This webinar is part of the Virginia Master Naturalist continuing education series. This presentation provides an update on several current and significant health issues for Virginia's forests. It includes an update on the spread and impacts of the invasive insect emerald ash borer and information on one of Virginia's newer forest threats, the spotted lanterfly. In addition, the presenter discusses oak decline and how multiple stressors contribute to that trend. It was presented on 16 August 2018.

Lori Chamberlin is the Forest Health Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Forestry. She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and a Master's degree in Entomology from the University of Kentucky, where she studies biological control of the hemlock wooly adelgid.
