Veterinary college graduates commissioned into U.S. Army Veterinary Corps

The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine congratulates Doctor of Veterinary Medicine graduates Kristin Monique Blount, Haley Elizabeth Davis, and Carli Alese Williams upon their commissioning into the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps as captains on April 30, 2020.

As the only veterinarians within the Department of Defense, Army Veterinary Corps officers provide animal care to government-owned and privately owned animals of service members; food safety and defense; public health; military medical research; and training to all branches of the military, as well as federal agencies at more than 1,000 locations in more than 40 countries.
