After fighting cancer for 10 years, Virginia Tech alumna Mitzi Frank died at the age of 41.
Her husband, Ponch Frank, now strengthens his wife's fight with a donation from the Mitzi L. Frank Memorial Fund.
The donation will fund the fellowship of a student in the Biocomplexity lab of Carla Finkielstein. The research of Finkielstein and her team delves deep into the connection of circadian rhythm and cancer development, as well as the best timing of cancer medications for the greatest impact.
