As Class of 2020 valedictorian at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Catherine "Kate" Pouliot, a student in
the mixed animal track, earned the Richard B. Talbot Award, named for
the college's founding dean. Pouliot is headed to Texas A&M
University to complete a small animal rotating internship, aiming for a
cardiology residency afterwards.
