Professor Lynn Resler, an ecological biogeographer in the Department of Geography, will discuss some of the rapid changes occurring in majestic alpine landscapes of the Rocky Mountains. Learn how biomes are changing, how ecosystems are adjusting to glacier retreat, and how invasive species and forest disease are affecting upper subalpine ecosystems. She will use examples from her work in Glacier National Park and other public lands in the magnificent part of North America referred to as “The Crown of the Continent Ecosystem.”
