Presenter: Jessica Taylor, Physical Scientist, NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA
Jessica Taylor grew up in Florida where her love of thunderstorms led to her to pursue a career in atmospheric science. Jessica is the lead of the Science Education Team at NASA Langley Research Center. Jessica's participation in GLOBE began in 2001 as a student at Florida State University where she took regular atmosphere measurements and trained teachers. Now at NASA, Jessica is the Principal Investigator for GLOBE Clouds. Her team engages students and citizen scientists internationally in science that is relevant to NASA. In 2020, more than 270k observations of clouds and sky conditions were documented and submitted to GLOBE’s worldwide database.
