The Education and Research in Agriculture project in Senegal strengthened human and
institutional capacity in agricultural teaching, research, training, and
outreach in order to serve the needs of Senegalese public and private
sectors such as farmers and food processors.
Managed by Virginia Tech's Center for International Research, Education, and Development, the eight-year project led the charge to connect agriculture, education, and business in a world where agricultural development is not just about money, but about people.
